In 1993, Gym Treasures was established in Franklin, Wisconsin by its co-founder’s siblings, Wendy and Rick Nelson. They began creating merchandise for their gymnastics academy pro shop. The company began with two employees who produced a two-to-six-page catalog that was distributed nationwide. Our company evolved and started designing its own products, screen printing, applying heat transfers, and embroidering various items. As the company expanded, so did the catalog, eventually reaching over 50 pages. Gym Treasures recognized a need in the gymnastics community as the gymnastics meets were lacking specific gymnastics gifts and apparel. Gym Treasures began traveling to gymnastics meets where they would sell official meet apparel along with other gymnastics apparel and gifts.

In 2024, Gym Treasures reached another milestone as they rebranded from Gym Treasures to Blue Spring Apparel. The name Blue Spring Apparel comes from Blue Spring Lake Wisconsin where Wendy and Rick spent their summers swimming and water skiing. Today Blue Spring Apparel employs over 10+ full time and part time employees. Our staff is the driving force behind our innovation, continuously generating new ideas and products.

While Gym Treasures remains deeply engaged in the gymnastics community, Blue Spring Apparel is actively striving to emerge as a leading provider meeting the apparel needs of corporations, sporting organizations, and schools within the community.
